Catherine Bowes serves as Turn Forward’s Senior Director of Strategy and Advocacy. She has more than two decades of federal and state advocacy campaign experience, including spearheading efforts to secure offshore wind market commitments and support project development in the Atlantic. As the founder and leader of National Wildlife Federation's Offshore Wind Program, she was also instrumental in building the New York Offshore Wind Alliance and the Regional Wildlife Science Collaborative for Offshore Wind Energy. Catherine’s commitment to Turn Forward’s mission stems from her coastal Massachusetts roots, which instilled an early and powerful respect for the ocean and appreciation of the many opportunities and challenges in launching this essential climate solution.
