Dan Fatton is Director, Clean Energy Partnerships for New Jersey Economic Development Authority. Dan leads a small team responsible for developing and managing strategic business relationships and directs the state's efforts to develop NJ’s offshore wind supply chain. Dan spearheaded the creation of a centralized state website for offshore wind: www.nj.gov/offshorewind.
Previously, Dan Fatton spent five years as New Jersey State Director for Energy Foundation, working in partnership with 50+ national, regional and state advocacy organizations to collaboratively co-create at least six strategic plans. During his tenure, Dan assisted EF staff with distributing funding to support climate, clean energy and transportation advocacy. As executive director for New Jersey Work Environment Council, in 2017, Dan co-founded Jersey Renews, securing the participation of 40+ organizations, including more than a dozen unions, all committed to making NJ a leader for state-based action on climate. Dan also served on Governor Murphy's Energy and Environment Transition Committee. Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in Media Arts & Design from James Madison University and a master’s in City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University. Dan serves on the Board of Trustees for New Jersey Policy Perspective, as well as for the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation.
