Andrew Meredith

Director of Labor Relations
RWE

Andrew Meredith is the Labor Relations Director for RWE's Offshore portfolio in the US. He came to RWE after serving as the President of the State Building & Construction Trades Council of California (SBTC), the youngest person to ever hold the position and only the 10th President in the organization's 121-year history. In that role, he represented 180 local trade Unions and over 450,000 skilled construction workers in 14 different trade unions.
Andrew Meredith is an electrician by trade and a proud graduate of a Joint Labor Management apprenticeship program. He is also a decorated combat veteran, accumulating nearly 500combat fight hours with the California Army National Guard aboard UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters in Iraq in 2005. Upon returning home from Iraq, he was elected to the Galt City Council (Galt, CA) serving from 2006 until 2010. In 2008, he served as the youngest Mayor in Galt's history.
