Samantha Smith

Adviser to the President
AFL-CIO

Samantha serves as the adviser to the president for Clean Energy Jobs. She has deep experience through her work on climate and energy issues. She most recently served as director of the Just Transition Centre (JTC) at the International Trade Union Confederation and was previously in senior roles at Equinor and World Wildlife Fund. At the JTC, Samantha was responsible for building a program of work on clean economy jobs with energy, manufacturing, transport and construction unions around the world.
