Scott McBurney, PWS

Wetland Services Leader

Scott McBurney is a Senior Project Manager and Wetlands Service Leader at EDR. He is a Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) with 20 years of environmental permitting and consulting experience, primarily focused on energy generation and transmission projects. He has extensive expertise with ecological resources assessments (e.g., wetlands, threatened & endangered species, flora/fauna surveys, vernal pool surveys), federal, state, and local regulatory permitting, NEPA impact analyses, siting and routing analyses, and state utility siting and licensing He has successfully completed and managed projects in Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas, Michigan, Florida, and North Carolina. Project sites range from <1 acre to several thousand acres on military installations, private lands, and linear projects such as electrical substations, pipelines, and transmission lines. Scott has completed over 50 projects with power utility companies, including Pepco Holdings Inc. (Pepco, Delmarva Power & Light, Atlantic City Electric), FirstEnergy, Jersey Central Power & Light, and NYPA.
